hi, sorry for the slightly stupid questions but im taking the pots off the servo boards of deodorANT and replacing them with resistors, (thanks to dave weston) how exactly do i do this??
i feel really stoooopid asking this

I'm sure this has been answered recently, but I can't find it so here goes...
You need two equal value resistors, somewhere between 2k and 4k7 should be OK. 2k2 is ideal.
Connect the two resistors together in series like this:
Connect the mid-point to the place where the centre pin of the pot' connects to.
Connect each of the ends of the resistor network to the places where the end pins of the pot' connect to.
(Sorry about my rather rubbish attempt at ASCII art)
