I've seen alot of conversion units for 2.4ghz
Could I use one of these to change my 35mhz system to 2.4ghz?
It seems the transmitter does do very well with a 27 crystal but it only cost me £2 to test the theory so yano win some loose some

Re: Transmitter conversion
A review says on giant cod
Just fitted the Frsky hack module into my Hitec Focus 4. Just unplugged the old Tx module and fitted a DIL .1 pitch connector and off we go. Hack module fits in easy as though it was made for it. All binds up and works perfectly. Hitec Focus 4 must be the oldest post valve transmitter to be modified to 2.4 Ghz, is this a record ?. Bought on E bay for sick squid. Struggle with chinese non-intuitive LED colours. Why Red for working?. Green for normal operation would be more appropriate. Cest la vie.
It's the same make as my transmitter
Are they difficult to wire up?
