I have used Techno Weld which I think is similar. It is just like soldering and gives a joint which is stronger than the aluminium if you are using thin sheet. The only problem is holding the bits in place as they need to be at 380 deg C when joining.

I've used the dura weld stuff and it is pretty good but as Pete says it needs to be at 380deg when joining. All very well until the vice starts to work as a massive heat sink.
