Spektrum dx5/6
probably a good thing I didn't pan on going to the aws today. I just got my transmitter out to make a modification to find that all the batteries have managed to explode and spew corrosive gunk all over the inside of the transmitter. they were just normal AA batteries and I'm not sure when this happened but it seems to have knackered my transmitter... So before I go out and purchase a new one having not used the last one for more than an hour does anybody have a spare dx5 or 6 they could part with?

The stuff that leaks from batteries is quite corrosive, so be careful when cleaning it up.
It also tends to rust the springy contacts for the batteries. If you clean out all the gunk and scrape the contacts clean with some fine emery paper you may be able to coax it back into life.
