how much psi is in my "tank"? how do i find out how much?, and make it higher/lower?

you pump air through the fill valve. the pump i use has a thing on it to show the psi.

how do i know when it has reached its maximum if im using a bicycle pump?

buy a car tyre pump, they have a thing to show psi on it

yeah we had one of those, but how do i know when it has reached its max so it doesn't crack open?

well the maximum is 100psi so just pump it up to that and if it explodes then you'll need to build it stronger

Make sure to do this behind some sort of screen/a wall and/or fill the tank with water so it will just leak instead of going bang.
