lego Pneumatics

Post by Team Terror »

Hi :)
I've heard that lego pneumatics are good for powering antweight flippers. I've searched for lego pneumatics on ebay, but it only brings up individual parts, i.e. the cylinders, rams etc are all sold seperately. And I don't know what I need to buy to build a pneumatic system :-? Could someone help me please, as I have very little knowledge of pneumatics?
Thanks,
Jack Evans

Do those sets include everything I need to build a pneumatic system?

I don't know about that, but if you get a complete system there's a lot of stuff in there

Hope that helps

I think in an earlier post I mentioned that active robots have the new set of lego pneumatics. This set comes with a pressure gauge as well.

How do I refill the tank in the lego pneumatic system? Can I use a bicycle pump, like Andrew Hibberd does for Anticide?
Thanks

The lego set comes with a little pump, nice and easy to use. However you might want to use a second lego valve so you can remove the heavy pump from the robot.

Fishertechnic (I think thats how its spelt) sell a one-way valve which you can use to lose weight instead of using a second lego valve.
