Yes, but only for an hour!
Check that the charger detects when the battery is fully charged and switches to a "trickle" charge. Use a timer if you want to be really sure. Best to keep an eye on the charger and the bettery the first time you use it. The battery will get warm, but shouldn't get too hot to touch.
