That's good to know! Yes, I think I'm going to have to do something about that drill. I think I'm going to make a thin Ti cutout and place it over the lipo rather than try to make all of the armour Ti. Hopefully it will repel the drill for long enough!

Are these the same thing? I think I just answered my question that they are not. FrSky =/= FlySky.
I'm looking for an integrated rx/drive motor ESC solution that is compatible with my Taranis X9D. Anyone got any ideas?
Alternatively, a way of detaching the integrated ESCs on the gear motors, because they stick up in a rather inconvenient way

No, they are not. Flysky and Frsky sound similar but they are totally incompatible and use different hardware.JoeHLloyd wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 1:17 pm Question:

Joe & I thought about this and came up with the BBB Red ESC: https://shop.bristolbotbuilders.com/product/redesc/ which might do what you want.Alternatively, a way of detaching the integrated ESCs on the gear motors, because they stick up in a rather inconvenient way
The Red ESC is similar to the dfrobot one, but has a different orientation (picture not possible to attach in this forum, see https://marksverbiage.blogspot.com/2021 ... d-esc.html for picture)
It is also possible to unsolder the dfrobot integrated esc and run it on short leads from the motor terminals; it's not that tricky!
