Hello,
Purchased a dasmikro and had a go soldering it. It was very difficult to get the wires to stick on. Managed it all in the end...
However after connecting the motors, battery and RX. The motors don't work.
The power supply is working as the light comes on the RX but moving the control sticks the motors don't move. Is my soldering wrong? Or have I burnt out a chip some where some how?

Re: Dasmikro
After a little research it seems I didn't actually have to solder both red and black cables for 2 RX cables. Maybe my white cables are touching and messing up the signal.

Re: Dasmikro
Just looked at a board I have and you seem to have got it wired up correctly.
I can only suggest you check there are no sorts between your soldered connections and check the transmitter receiver are correctly bound by plugging a servo into the receiver without the controller board.

Re: Dasmikro
A servo works using the power from the dasmikro and without using the board.
I'm going to resolder the RX wires. Do I only need to solder 1 red RX wire to the board?
Thanks for the help Peter

Fixed!
Removed 1 red wire from RX cables. Resoldered RX wires. Must have previously soldered the parts together.

Re: Dasmikro
next problem...
One motor is spinning faster then the other.
Investigating the gear system. The slower one has more gears. Would this slow the motor down. Is it possible I've been sent the wrong micro motor?
Anyone know what the problem is here?
Cheers

Re: Dasmikro
The motors spin a 1000's of revs per minute but with each step down in the gear box the speed reduces and the torque increases.
Both motors need to have the same gear ratio (number of gears and gear teeth) to ensure the output drive speed is the same.

Re: Dasmikro
Ah thanks Peter. Makes sense. It seems the eBay seller has sent me two differnt gear ratios.
Super annoying.
