Searching through images through the Autodesk Fusion 360 gallery, i can across an image of a 6 wd antweight, looked interesting, anyone know more information on it? Seems to be a UK bot by Joshua Bateman, called Big Hero 6

I see a post on this forum from May 16 where they came 30th in an event, be interesting to see any more posts on it

Yes! I remember them, from Bristol Uni (Bristol Beees), You can see one of their fights from AWS49 here (video should start at the correct time)

It was pretty techy - Infrared control, controlled through a Nintendo Game controller. One of the sticks was a direction control, so you set both the robot and the controller in the same orientation, then push the stick top left and it turned to face top left, push the stick top right, and it faced top right etc. (done via inertial measurement unit) Forward was a trigger on the controller.

Motor ratio was 30:1, 3D printed chassis. Custom Silicone tyres.

The controller board was a Baby Orangutan I think (https://www.pololu.com/product/1220/resources)

I was really impressed with them, though I don't think I've seen them since AWS49. They were also in the Bristol BEEES competion too if you search youtube...
