Don't you have to wire the battery to the board so I would have to resolder between every fight and its battery is very buried under all the other stuff

Using one battery for two robots is against the rules anyway. I could bring a spare lipo for you though, I have a couple now I've upgraded.

No, you don't solder the battery to the board or you'll never be able to charge it or disconnect it. Most people solder a connector to the board then just plug the battery into the connector. This can also be used as your 'on/off' as long as you can get to the connectors without dismantling the robot.

What board are you using for Baby Metal anyway? Some even come with connectors pre-attached.

I would sign Baby Metal up even if you don't get time to finish it. We can usually get it going on the day if all you're missing is a battery.

It's one of rory's boards so it has one of those red plugs on it that comes standard on lipos but there were some pictures of other wires with the lipo on the hobbyking website so I thought it ha to be attached.

No, it should clip straight in. Do you have a link to which one you've ordered?

Yeah, there are two types of lipos on hobbyking; one's with Eflite connectors, and ones with JST connectors. You got the JST ones which is correct.

The reason it is correct is because you recommended it to me!

Sorry, but of a stupid question but I've been looking for a transmitter with a switch aswell as joysticks as cheap as possible and I've found a 6ch transmitter for £23 and I'm wondering if it would be compatible with rory's kits.link:

Afraid not; needs to be DSM2 compatible. What do you want the switch for?
