yes. trying to put a wedge on though its being a pain to do as my dads drill ran out of battery, and its hard to fit the wires in the robot.

You'll be fine. A gram over wont disqualify you. If it weighs 153g on my scales you'll be asked to try and shed a little but looks like you'll be fine.

if I heard write there is an unwritten rule that a there is a two gram allowance for overweight robots to compensate for differences in scales. i think that's right.

my scales are terrible! all i know is fleadom fighter is somewhere between 63 grams and 70 grams :)

That is correct. Though it is unwritten because you cant just start building robots at 152g instead.

Plans for the next event(probably ant freeze 2015):

Jaguar will stay largely the same, definitely a new wedge. I may get a better reciever as the one i have has an annoyingly large ariel. I will also get some cable ties. If i can figure out a way to be invertible without going overweight i will. I am also going to purchase a nanotwo kit, a battery and maybe some armour for another robot, maybe a flipper as i have a servo lying around. I might even win a competition fight.

Just cut down the aerial. I assume you're running 2.4ghz. It won't make any noticable difference in an antweight.
