Die Gracefully Robots and Team Horse Power News
Thought I would jump on the team threads band wagon and create a place where I can post all developments for mine and Gemma's robots.
After Saturday's rather bruising AWS (thanks Ripto and Variant!) my whole team needs a complete rebuild, which I am actually very pleased about.
I've already made a few significant decisions.
1) Many will be pleased to hear I am ditching the bugs as cluster partners. They really don't add much and I think I'd much rather just use the extra weight on my 'proper' bots.
2) I'm going to stop building useless things like my fleaweight walker and concentrate on less robots that are better.
3) I want to try and build a Warhorses style clusterbot as my 4th AWS entry, rather than just teaming up two fleaweights.
4) I need to volunteer less for driving half of other people's clusterbot and concentrate on my own team!
The only other thing that is guaranteed is more stupid names, so I guess watch this space!

I have submitted to using CAD and I am ashamed. Please Dave, keep with your awesome non cheaty 3-d printed bots and never succumb.

Where as I don't agree that printed robots are cheating ( I find 3D drawing more difficult than hand building ) the thing I find best about Antweights is the variety.
The different styles, construction methods, materials, names and weapons never ceases to suprise and impress me.
I believe we should do nothing to limit this variety but should encourage it even if some of the names are difficult to remember or even pronounce.

I have it on good authority that Dave is currently in possession of some 3D printed parts and is considering using them in future robots. Sorry to 'out' you like this Dave.
