Well,that was fun!
Barbarian I think needs to be scrapped! :(
Fantom however was pretty good, until a hit from ripto dislodged the rx,which then shorted itself against the back face of the Ti scoop!

So,first order of business is to get fantom re done into a more protected, and better designed robot, not just all the parts shoved together, with a scoop on one side!!

I have made a new chassis, and a spacer to raise the fan up a little,so that the rest of the robot can sit a bit closer to the ground. I am also turning the edf unit upside down,to use the space better, and turning the fan around, and running it effectively in reverse!

Roll on the next one!!!!!! :)

Shame about the Barbarian, hopefully Harry can work his magic on it and get it going again :) best of luck with the builds, really looking forward to seeing what you come up with next, and I think (if it hasn't been asked before) you should try and see if you can get Fantom driving upside down and up walls!

Thanks Joey!
Yep,"Barbie" is in the capable hands of "The H-Bomb". I am sure he can it more... barbaric!!
Here is a video of Fantom driving on the ceiling...

What I thought were 500mah lipos, were actually 750mah! So I am trying some 600mah to try and keep the weight down a bit. :D
It looks different now,All I need is some .5mm Ti to replace the temporary cardboard skirt now!!! And fantom II will be ready for action.!!!
Cheers for now,Jim.
