as long as you don't do it on a steel work bench or chew on them in between joints you'll be fine, if you buy two 2 cell packs and make them into a 3 cell it will be easier as the tabs are already tinned and easy to make a good joint with. however when making your own packs you should balance charge them the first time.

sounds a bit dodgy for someone with my capabillitys. they also seem quite heavy at 32g may stick to my 12g 7.4v

Third one down, the 180mah 11.1v, 23g. It'll probably be lighter than that if you shorten the leads. A bit expensive, but its a good battery.

Haz I noticed on the video you said you were considering going up to three cells if you are running the HP motors my controllers are only rated at 8.4v.

here is if it aint broke break it with his new back armour, 1mm HDPE it currantly weighs 80g

well everything is in place at the moment (and fitting in well might i add) but not much progress can be made becuase i broke my soldering iron, the light is on, its just stopped heating up. need to get a new lipo as well :-?
