hes going to be invertible and have big pushing power.

but to make this im going to need some tracks.

Not avaliable from technobots atm but a lot of places sell these for about ?10. Also have a look on ebay for lego tracks.

Hijacking this as im after some ant tracks aswell.
How much of this set is generally used for an ant weight wise seeing as the set itself is 165g?
Are there any other track types beside lego that any of you guys can recommend?

The Tamiya tracks are good. And althouth the set weighs 165g,you are only going to use a fraction of the set to make your tracks,so the weight comes down alot.
2 large wheels and enough track for a 3.5 inch long track weighs 10.6g.
Times 2 is 21.2g,for a complete setup,just add geared motors,the Tamiya wheels have 3mm holes :)
