AWS Hall of fame

Post by Craig_Anto3 »

Hi All

As you may of may not be aware the AWS this year is 10 years old, some people are still competing after all this time. Oliver Steeples, Pete Collier and Pete Waller all competed in the first years competitions.
With that in mind I'm going to launch the AWS hall of fame, and will officially enter Oliver Steeples, Peter Collier and Peter Waller as the opening members.

I'm going to be setting up a website this week for it to celebrate our 10th year and to offically open the hall of fame. At AWS 30 I'm going to hand out the certificates to the opening members and I'm going to start an ebook of the origins of antweights, which I hope will chart the history of antweights and the AWS

I'm very proud to be part of the antweights and I'm very proud to of won the AWS, its a real honour

heres to another 10 years

Will include ants as well, or just their builders?

Hi :)
If the ants are going to be included in the hall of fame, some good ones would be:
Odyssey
Combatant
Pants
Anticide
Dynamite
Vacuum
Egg Man
Badgerbot
Anto XP
Well, that's my humble opinion anyway

Anto XP hasnt competed at an AWS so wouldnt qualify really

I had Pants Oddesey and CombatAnt in the hall of fame with 3 more to be added at AWS 33 and so on and so on 3 a year at the end of each year

Its more for robots who have made it to 10 years in the AWS, although I have been thinking of adding someone else in who hasnt been running 10 years but has an outstanding level of commitment to antweights

Wouldn't have thought so, Craig said AWS 30 which is a good 6 months or so away.
