Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019

Its ok, I think the shefield one was decided before I even announced my event. Although I could run my event as an AWS if needed. Otherwise it will be an antweight open. Either way it should be good fun. ☺

Re: Pneumatic antweight.

I might just do that then. Are there any servos you might recommend for the job?

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019

Ive just about finished prepping my team. I only had time to build three antweights and thunderstrike is still damaged from the last event I went to. Due to this, for the first time, fleadom fighter will be making a solo appearance in the main AWS.

Re: MG90 servos

Would running them directly on 2s work? Ive used them for various weapons and self righting mechanisms before but only ever on 5V.

Re: Pneumatic antweight.

I have some spare gas bottles from my bb gun so i'll probably use one of them. The aim of this project is to make a crusher that can actually crush things rather than just holding them.

Re: Pneumatic antweight.

Thanks Peter. I think the lego ones are mechanical so I was just going to use an Mg 90 servo to operate the switch. I think I also need some way of pumping it up. For that I was going to use a check valve. I have a couple of those lying around as well as a few T connectors. What are people using for...

Pneumatic antweight.

Hi guys. Could someone please let me know what parts I need to get a basic pneumatic system running? As far as I know I need a gas tank of some sort, a switch, some tubing and a ram. I could be missing a few things but please let me know. I was planning on using mostly lego components, are these gen...

This is the one I was using when I was using modded servo boards as escs. I doubt you'd need to regulate 2S for a lemon rx though. I hope this helps. ☺
