Re: Team MedBots

In an odd twist it has now randomly started working again! Hopefully it will keep working for the time being and I will probably get a new one before my next competition. I have had the transmitter for about 7 years now so it's no so bad.

Re: Team MedBots

Typical now dx6i has stopped working! Was working fine yesterday then went to turn it on and nothing, put in new batteries, nothing. I measured the voltage across the batteries it is 6v until I push the switch to the 'on' position then voltage drops to 0v! Measured the resistance between the termina...

Re: Team MedBots

Hey,
I'm going to try out the SG90s running regular gearmotors, has anyone got a pair of gearmotors they'd be happy to sell? I need some asap to make up a prototype to check/show all the planned components work together before my Uni robotics club orders a bunch.

Re: Team MedBots

Hey Guys,
2 related questions:
-Can the servo boards from SG90s run the normal micro gearmotors on 2s?
-alternatively could the BEC in a brushless esc supply enough power to drive 2 SG90s running gearmotors?

3D printers

Hi, I'm looking at getting a 3D printer, I want to get something decent that will do good prints (don't want to have my own 3D printer then still have to get shape ways to print it as I can't get the quality needed) but also don't want to pay more than I have to. What do you guys recommend? One that...

Re: Team MedBots

Thanks I'll make all of those changes. I did have a go with design spark but I found it confusing and hard to use but I imagine I would get used to it with practice, the nice thing about Fritzing is it lets you design the circuit on a breadboard then automatically generates the PCB then you juts hav...
