Make sure it is all properly insulated, or you risk a short circuit. if you are using a separate receiver and controller, then trim the antenna as this can result in a short circuit. With my spinner I have to fit the battery in between the receiver and speed controller, and tape them back to stop th...

One more thing, cover the board and receiver in electrical tape to avoid short-circuiting the wiring on the antenne, which happened to me last night. When did you buy it? I have had the same problem and they have got rid of the fault about a week ago. If you send an e-mail to Chris Malton about this he should get you a working replacement by saturday. The new board should arrive quickly, hopefully in time for saturday.

I think the rule is that if the power cord/ JST lead is easily accessible then it is allowed. To clarify would a lid of duct tape with the lead underneath be allowed?
