i think the 2 free robots rule then x amount (i think £5) per extra robot up to 4 makes sense... an extra cost for spinner entries (or any high damage high velocity weapon) even if entered in the free category (say £10 per spinner) would work dropping fight times to 2mins max would help with a) ensu...

i love my transmitter... does everything i need it to do and costs less than £35 with a receiver... i would recommend it... yeah, mantis did what its meant to pretty well... took me 4 versions to get it to this stage and still needs tweaks... i wanted to build a grab and lift as its a rare bot to se...

morning all... today i will have plenty of tools, glue and tape with me if anybody needs anything... among other random bits... things like a dremel style tool thing, soldering iron with about 10 miles of solder, drill with practically any sized bit you would need, tap in 4 random sizes smallest bei...

to be honest Chris, as long as theres an arena to fight in, a list with fights scheduled, a place to charge robots and gaffer tape to stick bits back together... im sure it will be a decent event... hell, id probably still attend if it was held in a cardboard box in some back alley... in the rain......

usually you get brown outs due to the servo drawing more than the bec inside your esc can put out... usually brownouts occur when a high power servo has to move something heavy... regular servo's (6v max) should be fine running straight from the bec inside your esc... 6v bec beats 5v bec... i think ...
