I know people are away at beetles. But I hope you can post up the timetable soon.
I assume it's a turn up around 9am.

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
Oh, Baby! Vs Rented For The Roboteers Pleasure was my favourite fight of the competition. You were quite good at getting hold of a part of me and somehow twisting the robot around. Then I had lots of fun trying to flail about and wiggle away. The way my bot would dance around in the chain configurat...

Re: Increasing numbers
I would like to suggest that moving the entry requirements regarding clusters and walkers would slightly reduce numbers and add extra variety.
I suggest a 3 robot team should contain at least 1 walker or cluster.
A 4 robot team should contain at least 1 walker and at least 1 cluster.

Re: Increasing numbers
The idea of bot number 4 being a reserve. I expect that means 4 is out given large numbers. So here's a nice half baked suggestion. Could it be viable to be swapped in later. In the scenario there is a damaged robot on the team? This is not a perfect suggestion. It feels a bit unfair in some regards...

Thanks to Chris. ARC Robotics. All volunteers.
Had a great time out yesterday. I got to see what my new robot can do and see a lot of everyone else's. Got a real rush out of it.
Hope I can get back out for AWS 56.

Re: Fulford's Ant
My robot Is mostly polycarb and epoxy. It's tough enough for most matches. The epoxy tends to break before the polycarb against spinners. Big complete peices come off. And glue back on. Every joint needs roughing down. Finger joints and dowelling helps a lot. I think a bit of epoxy a bit of screws w...

Re: Ant Attempt 2 - 'Tough Justice'
Awesome. My robot 24601. Is a 4 bar lifter. I went 2wd as my bad choice of components didn't size up well. I belive the standard rx from hobbyking is a bit big. The 4CH FS2A from banggood is cheap lightweight and tiny. 24601 has way more space inside now. It works with AFHDS. I believe that's hobbyk...

I should be coming by train from Birmingham International
If anyone else going into Rugby by train wants to travel together and maybe share a taxi rather than the bus let me know.
