I know we go through this confusion every year, but they may require you to be an FRA member to attend a Roaming Robots event? I don't know the answer to this by the way.

I use the brackets for a "serious" robot and cable ties for a run-all-day robot, more cooling surface for the motors IMHO.

Looks good, aren't you worried about your speed controller and receiver shorting out on the aluminium chassis?
