@Dave26: it's driven by SD200 gearboxes, so it's that kind of speed.
@Hib: improvement opportunities: faster gearboxes, rear opponent/line detection, better armour, lithium batteries, 4WD etc etc...

Hi all. Thought i'd post this here as the Antweight thread probably gets more attention. I've posted photos of the ATR (Autonomous Training Robot) below for comment. I'm gonna add a couple of small wedges between the transducers tomorrow, but other than that, it's complete. (in theory) it chases and...

PeteC, that new Hitec isn't actually a 40MHz rx (at least the one i was sent isn't) but i know there is a 40MHz one available (it says on the side of it), and my 35MHz version works fine with 40MHz crystals anyway. It's actually the same weight as a feather and is, in my opinion, far better in terms...

Just to let you all know, I'm taking a break for about a year or so.
Two reasons for this a) A-levels and b) can't get to any events for ages, so I can't really see the point.
