N20 motor rating
Does anybody know what Amperage N20 motors are rated to? I'm wondering whether a 5A dual esc would be suitable for 4WD. I did see a listing on ebay stating that the motors stall current is 1.1A, but I know that ebay ratings aren't particularly reliable.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
Does it matter if a bit of the robot is literally designed to fall off the moment the wheels start turning? I'm pretty confident this would be fine, but I'm not 100% certain. Sounds like one of those "check with the EO first" things. One thing you could try is have the robot start sitting...

Re: GeorgeR's robots
I for one can't wait to see the upgrades. RBMK is absolutely one of my favourite bots. How much would increasing the power of the blades affect its mobility? One thing that particularly impressed me about it was how quick it was.

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
I spent today at Botfest 2, an event I wasn't sure I was even going to attend, since I've still got a couple of things to sort out for Burgess Hill next week, but I am sure glad I did. I decided to give Rented a break this time & instead brought my Shakey flipper appropriately named " What ...

Re: Featherweight clusterbot
Hi Daniel As of right now the official FRA rules http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/documents/Competition-Regulations.pdf state that if one segment of a clusterbot is immobilized the entire robot is considered knocked out. It does not specify how the size or weight has to be distributed so as long as y...

Re: AWS rule polls 2019
Hi, a question regarding rule 4b); 4b) A robot that falls off the arena and touches the bottom of the drop off has lost. If no contact was made with the bottom of the pit then the fight may continue. What happens if one robot pushes another off the arena, goes off itself & either a) the aggresso...

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
Don't worry Kyro, I'm no stranger to wiring things the wrong way. I've researched it on some rc forums & it seems I've got it right. Of course if someone reading this knows otherwise they're welcome to tell me (hint hint).

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
A couple quick updates, firstly Rented has a new wedge after AWS57 https://ibb.co/GTpw4jV I've still got to figure out what to do with PSU's flipper though. More importantly, I've decided that my next antweight will be a spinner, with a design similar to S5 Wild Thing, only invertible (with some oth...
