Re: My first antweight thread

That is a nice looking and well thought out robot. The only slight worry is the very low ground clearance combined with the rear overhang would mean in a pushing contest any lifting at the front will result in the tyres losing contact with the floor and hence result in loss of grip.

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings

I couldn't see a break out connector or board that went to flying wires and I had the vero board and sockets so it was convenient. My son-in-law is doing the audio files I have asked for plain speech and slightly robotic and am considering a voice changeover switch. Tapping out on the roboteers swit...

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings

My granddaughter is probably going to be learning python next year at school so as her self appointed technical assistant I decided I had better find out how to program in python. I purchased a Raspberry pi 4 starter kit and HDMI monitor from Pi Hut and set about the task. I decided I would start wi...

Re: Flipper servo

I have used the EMAX ES9256 in the past which is very similar except the wires come out of the bottom of the case. But a quick look round seems to show that is on back order even at Servo Shop where I have bought them in the past.

Re: [Question] Good servo for gripper?

Here was my original gripper with just a thin piano wire push rod bent into a curve to allow it to flex rather than stall the servo. https://oxrooq.db.files.1drv.com/y4mqSx4NEcg7eCUnOVWdWJ0wYiB90b1PeH7_FJ7SPZREoyw9d_RDiZlzZPOVIgjJPhRDjoD3CFlf-6Gvc08SHL8FkM9YKHnZ5WQeltOIsPil470g4JKfv8wDWXQxorLYgYY7PJ...
