Hi. I usually drill some small holes in the chasis if I need to shave a gram off. Theres always some difference in scales though so you might be alright but its better not to take the risk. The robot looks great by the way. Well I did that with Killer-Wolf 1.5 and failed to shave any weight off of ...

Been trying to edit the CAD of Killer-Wolf 2, trying to shave off weight in places (not finding much I can comfortably remove). The Chassis weighs 55g, electronics weigh 75g and the flipper arm and panel weighs 20-30g. I managed to fit everything inside and got it up and running. Could do with so ad...

Manual support structures in the print. http://i.imgur.com/Wdxzx54.jpg Essentially you want to eliminate any sharp points (Corners), thin edges or just areas of low surface area in contact with the bed of the printer. Green shows the manual support added for later removal. Ah such a simple solution...
