Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Physical support and strain on a single motor shaft is still a slight concern but it feels pretty solid when all put together. I think I will at some point before it goes to an event grab a spare motor just in case. I've found that with a single motor, the thing which happens is the gearbox on the ...

Re: AWS56 - Bristol

the issues start when you refer to every event as an official AWS tournament That's exactly it. The AWS has always been it's own event, independent of any others, run in way which prioritises full combat for roboteers over anything else. Other events can be and are run which mix up the format in wh...

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Looking awesome! :D I can understand it being twitchy; in my experience, 2WD with wheels in the middle usually makes for a twitchy machine but still, the method has advantages. The twitchiness is one of the reasons I've gone with 6 and 8 wheel drive for my axe robots but you'll get used to it quickl...

Re: AWS56 - Bristol

Would be looking to make Bristol; should be possible for us. Sounds excellent Dave. Regarding AWS 57, I thought there were complications there. The Dorset Robot Championships are advertised for 23rd - 25th November so it looks like the 24th would fall into the 'Public Event' category on the site whi...

Re: Antweight World Series 54 - Bath City FC

Thanks to all involved for a great event yesterday.

Really well run once again and the judges/arena helpers were excellent. The 3D printed trophies were a really nice touch also. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

Looking forward to Chris' event in June already. :D

Re: Antweight World Series 54 - Bath City FC

We're just starting out now, bit late due to the snow. Not so bad in Bath it appears but it's affecting round by us heavily. Likely to be late and to arrive around 11:00 thereabouts. Please could the sign up be held open a bit longer to take this into account. We are not likely to be only ones delay...

Would definitely be very interested. I'm sure many others would be the same around this sort of time.

Thanks for another great event. Really good to see Ant Freeze becoming even more popular!

Fantastic to see everyone again; looking forward to the next AWS already.
