Simon, Thanks for these hints about armour, balance and weight. One possiblity is to put the wheels further forward and curve the back, also removing castors and making it drag. We were planning on using 5mm vacuum-formed acrylic plastic but if we can get hold of some of that polycarbon stuff (sounds tricky) it would probably work better.
