Re: Need a new esc
There's the dasmicro ESC which is quite cheap but you would have to solder directly onto it. Apart from that theres the sabretooth ESC which has boxes for the wires so you dont need to solder it and will easily drive a flipper servo but from experience I think that one's a bit big and bulky. Sorry I...

Dys or redcon brushless motors.
Hi guys. Does anyone know where I could buy a dys or redcon brushless motor from? They seem to be what everyone's using these days but I can't find a supplier that isn't either out of stock or has discontinued them. Thanks.

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
Nice to see theres still interest for it. What would be the best date in November for everyone? Also, this event will take place in the new extention. Its slightly smaller than the main hall but should still be large enough to run an event in. We'll just have to be a bit conservative with space.

Re: Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon
Thanks guys. I want to build a flipper bot that can actually throw an opponent rather than just turning them over. Pneumatics looks a bit complex and I dont want to have limited flips so I think one of these servos might have to do it.

Re: Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon
Thank you. Where did you get the 100:1 motor from please? Also how much flipping strength did you get from it? Is it better than just using a micro servo?

Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon
Hi guys. I am looking to build a robot with a geared motor driven weapon. Possibly an axe, grabber or flipper. Would the botbitz 10 amp be a suitable ESC to control such a weapon and also, how well would a geared motor fare at driving a flipper or grabber? I have seen them used to drive axes before ...
