Re: Jon's Cheerful Robots

Hey all, Just wanted to put a label on my slight disappearance from robots of late. I see Scott is taking a break and I may have to mirror him for the moment. This is not due to to any lack of enthusiasm for the sport on my part but I haven't been able to balance my degree and my hobbies as well as ...

Re: Antweight robot max 1,5 cm height

Good thing you've done some research but like I said before, you like as not won't find people to make it for you here. It sounds like a fun project though, why not give it a go yourself? The lack of knowledge can be easily fixed and it probably wouldn't take as much time as you'd think; I'd say if ...

Re: Antweight robot max 1,5 cm height

Hi and welcome :) What purpose would the robot serve and would it be autonomous or RC? It sounds like more of a spy cam robot than an Antweight. Re: Rx and arduino problems

I've always found the orange RX a bit fragile
I'm inclined to agree with you on that one Rory.

Do you ship the LemonRx from america then?

Rx and arduino problems

Just a quickie before I disappear back to my normal lurking. I recently broken an orange rx. Nothing new there, but I wanted to clarify what I got wrong. Was having a play with an arduino for some more interesting control methods in a robot and so went ahead and connected the signal from a channel o...

Re: AWS 47 - Stoke Sub Hampton - July 4th 2015

Predictably won't be there for this one :( The uni formula student team is keeping me pretty busy, especially on the 4th which is annoying because the 4th is also when I was going to move house :P

Re: Gearing motors together

The concept of a dual brushless set-up using a differential makes my mouth water. What's the reasoning behind using two motors instead of just upping the size of the current one though?
