Re: "Flip-it” new build/project
Cool, how've you done that? I see some kind of Arduino-type board, what protocol does the radio run on? Does it use a RC protocol? Or bluetooth? Wifi? Something else? Mark It uses RC protocol, you have to set the frequency up to match the modules. Here is a guide on how to use the modules. I just a...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project
Made myself a Transmitter. Printing lid and adding in a switch still need to be done. I am powering it using a 1s lipo (18650 rescued from a broken laptop) and boosting it up to 5v. I have now built all the components for a DIY robot. When I get some spare time around Christmas I am going to write a...

Re: 3D printer supplies
I went to the TCT exhibition at the NEC yesterday and saw this auto tool changing on a 3D printer being demonstrated. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bn4gWYOzHxQ Wow so clever. I bet a little expensive. I’m looking forward to when they combine 3D scanners with a 3D printer. Scan your item and have it print...

Re: Mark's Antweight build
Looks awesome! Glad you got it finished and into combat in the end. I fried one of my micro controllers and gave up on it hehe.

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project
It’s been a while... From frustration of still not being able to make it to any antweight events...I’ve been spending my hours enjoying the 3D printing hobby. I’ve designed a new robot called Dennis, a Christmas tree with LEDs and drawn up my Flip-it robot on CAD so I can print that as well. Plus pr...

Re: Best NanoTwo alternative?
I found a couple of alternatives from china. I have ordered one and will test and update you all. It says it can handle 1-3s and 5A. Seems like a nice package and it's not overly big. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32919711364.html?spm=a2g0n.wishlist-amp.item.32919711364 https://m.aliexpress.com/item...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project
Finaly I’ve completed a DIY only robot using arduino and other modules. This is nothing new and been done many times before however I wanted a cheap alternative to buying all these expensive ESC and Tx/RX packages. Allowing this hobby to be more accessible to even more people. Students at my school ...
