Re: AWS 46- University of Reading- 28th March 2015

I will get back to you on that one but the chances are yes. We are planning to go straight into the main competition as early as we can so ideally we need everyone there for 10am and signed in by 10.45. If anyone looks to be running late they should let us know so that they can be included in the dr...

Re: AWS 46- University of Reading- 28th March 2015

Just a very quick point as it's looking like we could be having a record number of entries this year. As far as the main compeition goes I believe AntLog has a maximum capacity of 128 robots. If we do exceed this number on the day we may have to ask those with full teams to sacrafice an entry (I wil...

That high pressure setup had the ram that is currently sitting in Manta- I was chatting to Ed and we can't work out why it works so much better as Im running a very similar setup.

I'm still trying to locate your ram Alex. I think I know where it is though :p

Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!

I've spent a great deal of time working on most of these points to speed up our AWS in Reading after we overran the first time. Last year was considerably smoother and we still had time for breaks during the competition which I feel was down to the following. 1. Having the sign in and tech check lin...

I will be there with my ants but the beetles will be taking priority as they have the main competition. I am also promoting Shockbots on the day.

Re: Will's Nanoweights

After a bit of thought I finally decided that I need another nano spinner so I have rebuilt Inertia XT :) It now has proper gearmotors for drive and a deltang rx to get the size and weight down. With the old disc it weighs in around 30g but I have just ordered a new single tooth blade which should c...
