Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

last night, the araldite on the lifter motor hardened, so i thought I'd see what it could do. :D unfortunately, it was not to be. something has gone a bit wrong.. https://youtu.be/QdWEqtVWWpA it seems like the motors are randomly pulsing back and forth. the erratic circular motion might be due to on...

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Re: T_Y's Build Log

was it tough having to fight two in a row? I'm not sure my nerves would've been up to that. :P

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

At one point it looked as you had a spike jabbed in underneath an enemy flipper. yeah, that was exactly what I'd hoped to do. :D i like to think that if the lifters could've lifted, I'd have lifted him up at that point, and gracefully dropped him over the edge of the pit like a pro. ah well,...

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

Phew! Well, AWS 55 was a fun event! :D Apologies to anyone who tried engaging with me for being slightly incomrehensible and possibly seeming a bit antisocial. I started the day in a bit of a panic, and didn't really stop until I got home again. :P It didn't start well.. I'd only partially tested th...

Re: AWS55 - 30th June 2018 - Dunchurch Village Hall

Thanks for such a great event - we really enjoyed ourselves! It was all a bit of a blur for me, so it'll be good to see the videos. :)

I wanted to make a donation toward the costs, but forgot to get cash in the morning panic. Is there a way of donating via PayPal or something?

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

ugh.. i spoke too soon. I forgot I had to sort out the failsafe! i went to test it tonight, but I've ran into a problem with the NanoTwo V3; it's stopped working! :o It was working fine last night, but tonight it dimly flashes red once when power is supplied, and then it does nothing. I've disconnec...

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

I'm already using the diagonal for getting reach on the lifters, which are at 45 degrees in the box. It's no big deal - I had to rebuild the armour anyway, for extra length (for fitting the battery) and for a weight reduction.

I'm up to the really important bit, now - decorating! :D

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

bit of an update for anyone who cares (so probably just for my own benefit!).. It turned out that the weight, loose gear, and non-fitting battery weren't the only issues with Suspicious Houmous. It was also too wide! I'd forgotten that the width was a guesstimate, and one that didn't include the bol...
