That is looking good.
You are obviously putting a lot of thought into the design, hopefully will be seeing at an event soon.

Re: jes's build log
Just to help stress the point about ensuring there is still contact between the drive and the arena when tipped back here are a couple of mine where the armour gives good protection but the tyre still sticks out the back. https://bph7og.db.files.1drv.com/y4mP399e7ROBjFYCTf5jURhoOehpcOkBKDbpH2rETJ5HJ...

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings
Although the shell of Combatant only received superficial damage at AWS60 I decided to reprint it to try and add a little more overhang at the front in order to try and stop the blade catching the arena so much causing it to fly out. As it already a tight fit in the cube I wasn't able to add more th...

Re: What is a team?
Each team is limited to 3 rolling robots and 1 either walker/ shuffler or cluster. Some families have multiple teams so teams must be self contained and not share parts like batteries or transmitters. Also by being in a team Antlog ensures team members are in different groups for the initial stages ...

Re: Ellis's (Team BANANAPHONE/A12) build log!
I have had problems with the small orange receivers loosing the bind with DSM2 transmitters and in some cases refusing to bind at all. I have found that they do still work with DSMX transmitters so I have bought a secondhand DSMX DX6i to operate them. When linked to DSMX the light is not quite conti...

Re: AWS 60 - Headington, Oxford - 30th Nov 2019
Yes I thought it should have been a reset. The problem was they decided that because part of Bergavan was still in the arena it was not in the pit but the rules clearly say a robot is in the pit as soon as any part of it touches the pit floor so with half of the robot in the pit and in contact with ...

Re: AWS 60 - Headington, Oxford - 30th Nov 2019
Thanks to Dave and Sarah and all who helped to make the event run so smoothly it was a great celebration of 20 years of Antweights. As others have said one of the best venues we have been able to use and also the nearest to my home for many years.
