That high pressure setup had the ram that is currently sitting in Manta- I was chatting to Ed and we can't work out why it works so much better as Im running a very similar setup.
I'm still trying to locate your ram Alex. I think I know where it is though :p

After a bit of thought I finally decided that I need another nano spinner so I have rebuilt Inertia XT :) It now has proper gearmotors for drive and a deltang rx to get the size and weight down. Its a pretty straightforward process when you remove the board from the servo you remove the potentiometer and replace it with fixed resistors (normally 2.2k) and then wire it up as usual

As has already been pointed out the Shockbots robots are designed to be competitive robots as an entry into the sport for those who may not necessarily have access to the tools and equipment to build their own robots. The Nanobots are exactly the same- if I was to build one and enter it no one would...
