Where is the venue exactly? is it far from the train station?

Basingstoke would be fine, but sadly July is still not a option for me, unless I go by train but I am not sure if I can afford to.

I don't think my revivers do that, but I'll give that a try when I get back to Dover as I don't have a bind plug handy.

Also thanks for Pointing out that only the weapon needs a fail safe.

My suggestion for getting people into robot related building, is to start with Lego Power Functions, its very easy and safe.

Thats how I started my robot building and it's good for beginners.
