I've only read half the discussion, so don't jump on me, but the cube is for two reasons. The original concept of ants was 'right here, right now' - so ants needed to be pocket sized. They were originally 100g (not sure when they changed, but well before WS1) and should fit in your pocket. The cube ...

RW101 - help requested

As many of you know, as well as this forum, there is actually a website at robotwars101.org. Those who have been around a few years will know that the website has been in gradual decline over the last three years due to other pressures on my time. As a result, a lot of the editorial work has slipped...

Apologies to all waiting for the DVDs - they are coming shortly. I've just got the menus left to do but as I'm sure you can appreciate, with a 6 week old baby in the house and a return to work after paternity leave, I've been very busy and not had much time. I'm hoping to finish and burn the master ...

Forum Downtime

I'm hoping to update the forum software again at this weekend (29th Apr to 2nd May inc) - and if I have time, restore some of the data lost in the recent attack.

If you find the forum down over this weekend, don't panic - its probably just me.

I've located a possible venue in Burgess Hill - not much north of Gary, but easy to get to by road or rail. Could people suggest some date ranges in June or July so that I can check availability? - I don't want to clash with exams, etc.

AWS 17

Well, with one out of the way, we start looking forward to another.

If anyone would like to bid to host 17, please post here.

I will put in a tentative bid myself - I haven't managed to identify a good venue yet, but I'm working on it. However, if someone else wants a go, express your interest here!

Please remove or reduce those pictures or I will delete them. Even at 70k they are heavy pictures - a good guide for a TOTAL WEBPAGE is 130kb inc all graphics!!

Ah, but as you see from my definitions, a biscuit is in fact a derivative of cake therefore it can equally be classed as a biscuit. Actually, we could probably come up with a formula to define a biscuit based on cake: b - biscuit c - cake d - diameter of said cake l - depth of said cake pi - 3.14159...
