Re: Antweight World Series Winners

I think the content of that table justifies me saying this:

Ban Andy! ;)

Re: EDFs

Yeah sorry, that was me being unnecessarily nitpicky :) .

I have been looking to see if an EDF overhead bar is plausible, just to try myself. Dunno if you can get one low profile enough to make it viable (on the plus side, if it's tall enough it could take out ALBOF's motor :).

Re: EDFs

Just a small point Scott: EDF's are basically pushers. Given our previous discussion about the dominance of pushers (and subsequent arena change), arena design would affect them (the lip I mentioned for example would help).

Re: EDFs

Ok, so here goes nothing: First off: EDF's; don't ban them, beat them. We as a community seem to be getting complacent (I'm very guilty of that). I don't like EDF's either but they can be beaten, probably by someone with better driving skills than me. Secondly: The top 3 of the last few events have ...

Re: EDFs

Ill get back to this when I am not at work, I've got a lot to say about the points above.

I will say as a short thing: Don't ban EDF's...beat them. One way or another, they can be.

Re: AWS 47 - Stoke Sub Hampton - July 4th 2015

That's a shame Rhys, I wanted to:
A: Try and beat Randar properly
B: Congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood in person :).

Hope everything goes well with that, hope to see you in Reading then :).

35 is a lot! I've made numerous iterations of the same robots, in terms of total robots I've made about 15, and about 9 for other people!

Re: Dominance of pushers at AWS46

My car fits 1 x 1.4m flat, but we seem to be looking at an arena over 1m square, so my car may not be ideal, depending on how well the seams can be covered.

Also, I'd rather just a pit as a hazard unless it's for a show spectacle (that's what my arena had a flipper for).
