i generally use the bec from my esc's to power lower powered servo's... both types of esc i use have a 6v bec which is usually the power standard servo's require... you could use a seperate bec if your esc's dont have one built in... sadly, i cannot provide links to any decent bec's as i have never ...

yeah, i had to change up the design a bit to get various modifications to work as intended... i needed the ability to grab larger bots and the old design couldn't do it and still fit in the cube... but, it does what its meant to do, and it does it better than it has with any of the previous versions...

I will happily help judge... i have not judged before though... I will be fair and honest although myself, my son and my mrs are taking part in the event so i will need replacing during these matches to avoid any bias... for every other match i will happily judge... im also happy to help put tables ...

yes these seem a bit slower than 300 rpm... i use 600rpm n20's for my bots (1200rpm at 12v) and i have more than enough speed with plenty of torque... i personally wouldnt go much higher than this as i don't think its needed... i use silicone for the grips on the end of mantis's grabber... the littl...

for tools, i bring soldering iron/solder, hot glue gun/glue and drill with bits... along with various glues, spares and stuff this is sufficient for me... i build my bots using few tools so im actually able to bring practically every tool i use with me... +1 on tx charger/spare batteries... i will h...

i too cannot find the mg90... however the "d" version appears to have better specs than the mg90 and no mention of it being digital... what did you need them for? would the d version not be enough?

i buy my servo's exclusively from servoshop.co.uk as they only sell genuine servo's... anything from other sites runs the risk of being fake...
