Re: General questions for first robot

Hijacking this for a quickie; what do you guys use to attach that thin plastic to your flippers and what type of plastic is that?
I've tried to epoxy plastic to alu / Ti without much of a success, what type of glue would be more apropriate?

Re: Sabertooths

Yeah I've heard about not needing capacitors with 2,4Ghz systems which is great as its one less thing to keeping in mind.
Was just wondering if there were any easy modifications to in some way reduce the chance motors do damage to an ESC?

Re: Sabertooths

Got a dual 25A aswell which I hve yet to use. Some ppl seem to have them working very well on 2 motors but when running 4 motors they seem to suffer even tho they probably manage the current as they would shut of due to over current protection. Could there be any benefit of using capacitors on the m...

Re: General questions for first robot

I can recommend http://www.botbitz.com/ for speed controllers aswell, Im running 2 of em in one of my bots and got 2 more for my next build and they work very well so far. The shipping time isn't too bad considering its sent from australia and the fee isn't that high either.

Re: antweight spinner

A small brushless outrunner motor used in the smaller versions of rc planes.
Should be able to buy one in most rc oriented stores or online.
Hobbyking is a popular store.
