Re: Yet Another Antweight Speed Controller
As Steve said about the Open Source Code that was published in 2011 (https://launchpad.net/brushed), he even included a step by step video on hacking the 85A controllers, yet only a couple of people actually did it. Thanks Sam and Haz! Dave, I am coming to Deeside, I'll talk to you there. For some reason I had it in my head that Baby Hell used a 100:1 on the axe :-? . A 50:1 motor would be more convenient for delivery too, as BotBitz don't sell a 100:1 option! The whole thing has been created to size with a Sa...

Would they be interested in a BotBitz GreenAnt Kit?
If it's for an educational purpose we can probably help out cost wise too

Re: Noob in need
Alternatively, you could grab a BotBitz GreenAnt kit :) http://www.botbitz.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=63&product_id=73 It's fairly easy to assemble (15-30mins) http://rrevo.dozuki.com/Guide/How+to+assemble+the+BotBitz+Kitbot/2/1 and it's fairly cheap since the Brittish Pound is...

Re: Team Shock's Build Diary
You can get a better finish on the 3D printed parts by giving them a sauna session in a pressure cooker and some acetone.
The UP Mini is a good little printer, this is what BotBitz are currently using to do their Antweight Kit

Re: DX5 fail
With the brushless esc's, you need to bind your TX to the RX with the throttle channel at it's lowest setting. This is because a fair few of the RX's failsafe to their initial settings when bound to the TX. So if you turn your TX off, the RX will default the throttle to center stick, which is basica...
