i know this may sound preaty simple but, just have a metal bar or similar to stop it going past that point, and have it connected to the servo itself so the servo doesnt wiggle free due to the bar.

just a thought, it may not work,

you could try rapid electronics, they only sell single battrys but them you can solder up your own pack and that way you can get it the shape you want. i dunno what p+p is like but its next working day delivery i think.

personaly i would say if you do have tape for AI ants have it a few centimeters away from the edge cos an AI bot could easily over shoot especialy if its a fast one.
