Re: Team Shakey Build Diary

Thank you. Sorry if I am being a bit annoying with all the questions, but how do you balance your asymmetric blades, I have spent hours trying and I have nothing to show lol

Re: Team Shakey Build Diary

Oh, interesting, I thought they would be really heavy. Do you water jet them then, or a heated cuting method?

New beetleweight 6 wheel drive build.

So, we are wondering, whether you need 2 links on either side of the robot, top and bottom, if it is invertible. Also, does anyone else know a beetle that has 6 motors drive? Not belt driven.

ESC battery and motor paring

So I am building a beetle that has 6wd. Each motor has a max current draw of 16A So I pared each side of drive with a 60A ESC that 60A being continuous, it is 320 A peak Then the battery is a 75c 2200mah battery. I am wondering if the ESC is overkill and then the battery overkill, because it is a lo...

Graphene Batteries

I have looked, and they don't seem to be eligible in the rules as they are not in the table of eligible battery chemistry, but I saw a featherweight used a graphene battery so I am unsure weather you can use them or not. I do know that they are lipo batteries that have been enhanced. But they are ex...
