Re: Die Gracefully Robotics Stuff and Things

That could be cool. Or perhaps if you don't usually want to show them pre event, then if they are recycled maybe a tear down type thing? A reverse build diary lol.

Basically I'm just a nosey git who wants to see inside all your guy's bots.

Re: Die Gracefully Robotics Stuff and Things

I look forward to this thread! Despite what you say about them being bashed together I saw plenty of them doing ok for themselves! Including putting Third Law out of his misery. Gave me time to fix him properly for the rumbles at least. As someone that still takes weeks to build one, I'm a little bi...

Re: GeorgeR's robots

Congrats on Valkyrie's really good showing. Cemented it's place as my favourite 150g robot on our scene. The incredible noise it makes combined with how nippy it is with the gyro dancing really makes it very memorable. Next time a podium finish? I think he's good enough.

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Well in a weird way I oughta be glad it was the battery as it's about the only part I had spares of lol. There was an ohh sugar moment though when he hit me and the Lipo just flopped out from where he'd opened the top up! Not supposed to happen! Funny really because right before that happened I hear...

Re: Antescher Assault Systems build diary

Suspicious Humous won best robot name of the day for me 😂 I liked the spikes. At one point it looked as you had a spike jabbed in underneath an enemy flipper. Pretty cool.

Re: Mark's Antweight build

Hi again! Martin here fron next to you in the pits yesterday. I enjoyed seeing your robot, such a different approach to most and even though I don't know a great deal about the tech you have in there I found it interesting. My robots are dumb bricks compared to Betsie lol.

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Post AWS report! Much more post event analysis than after Ant freeze as I got into more matches this time. I'll start with the bad - Manticore is a sucky robot. I always knew the hammer was more for fun than competition haha but nevertheless I am disappointed in his matches. Two clear losses where I...

Re: AWS55 - 30th June 2018 - Dunchurch Village Hall

That was a great day. Kudos and congrats to Chris and all his team it was a tight ship. And so many fantastic bots. I even got the first couple of wins of my roboting career :) So many awesome and terrifying robots at the top of the field. It was interesting to finally see what happens to my constru...

Re: AWS55 - 30th June 2018 - Dunchurch Village Hall

@Michael it's definitely a good day out even if you're not fighting. My first event was ant freeze this year with just one bot that got eliminated very early. Still had a blast the whole day watching the tournament and checking out what some of the more well known teams were doing with their bots be...

Re: AWS55 - 30th June 2018 - Dunchurch Village Hall

Wow over 100 robots signed up.

Looking forward to this a lot now. Went to the afternoon Robots Live show yesterday, got me hyped up for AWS.

Must remember to get more batteries for my transmitter haha.

Definitely your machines command a bit of fear. I'd happily fight any of them next week....but.....I'd prefer it if it wasn't in the very first round yeah?

Ohhh I really hope Manticore draws Percussive Maintenance at AWS. Two 150g hammers trying to bash each other sounds hilarious to me.

Looks good!
