Re: Das Mikro - £12 dual channel speed controller with mixing
There are walkera 6ch receivers available that work with it but they are hard to come by and more expensive. The software change for the transmitter is easy and then it will run any receiver with dsmx or dsm2 and you can pick these up anywhere for peanuts. (Orange rx/lemon rx)

Re: Das Mikro - £12 dual channel speed controller with mixing
Both should be fine, you just need a receiver that accepts servo leads.

Re: Antweight open 12th November 2016
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome today! Despite not winning any fights I had a blast and both robots only need minor repairs (nothing electronic) and I have plenty of pointers and ideas on how to improve them. Hope the rest of the day was just as fun.

PETT. I realise if it gets hit it will most likely shatter, but this is more of a learning experience right now. The spinner sounds scary whet up to speed

Re: Design-Build of Fe, my first competitive ant.
So TWO yes TWO antweights completed! When the first design went downhill I went from it being called F-E to Iffy. And the spinner is called sketchy.

Signed up for two robots. They don't have wheels or armour yet but they will be there!

Re: Antweight open 12th November 2016
How long does the event usually run? I live up north and need to be heading back for a hockey game around 3.30pm. Will I miss out on much?

Re: Design-Build of Fe, my first competitive ant.
Yes! Second iteration is a drastic design change but seems to be working well. Also just printed my second iteration of a spinner design. Hopefully it will be ready for Saturday.

Re: Antweight open 12th November 2016
Thanks! One is almost done, an all servo flipper. The next I'm printing out tomorrow which is a spinner. Not sure if I will get it done in time, should know by Wednesday.
