Motors for Nanoweights

Hello,

Would 3V motors rated for a max load of 0.2mNm and max power 152mW be suitable for use in a nanoweight?

Additionally, could someone point me in the direction of some suitable alternatives?

Any info is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Re: Using multiple small LiPos

The batteries I'm looking at are found here:
https://www.powerstream.com/thin-lithium-ion.htm

I'm looking at the 100mAh batteries, though since it doesn't look like these will be decent alternative for an ant, I'll probably need to redesign the body.

Re: Using multiple small LiPos

Discharge rate appears to be 2C, so it will peak at 200mA. I'm planning to use Pololu HP motors. Motor stats are as follows: Free-run speed @ 6V: 1000 rpm Free-run current @ 6V: 120 mA Stall current @ 6V: 1600 mA Stall torque @ 6V: 9 oz·in Motor type: 1.6A stall @ 6V (HP 6V) Would a battery of 7.4V,...

Using multiple small LiPos

Hello, Since the design of one of my robots is too small for the batteries I currently use, I've needed to look for smaller alternatives. I've managed to find some 3.7V 100mAh LiPos that should work, however to get the power I need, I will need to use at least 2 LiPos. I've come up with the followin...

3D printed scalextric wheels for antweights.

Hello, I came across these 3D printed scalextric wheels on shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/product/BT9F466Q2/scalextric-wheels?optionId=40780127 Does anyone know which scalextric cars I should be stealing tyres from for these wheels? So far, I haven't found any that I have lying around that fit ...

Counterweights on Axes

Hello,
Does anyone know whether adding a counterweight onto an axe is a good idea and what effect it will have on a robot when the axe is used?
Also, would it be better to have a longer axe with no counterweight, or a shorter axe with a counter weight
Thanks in advance for useful info.

Re: TinyTwo Speed Controllers

Considering selling these as starter kits: http://i.imgur.com/aSl1DrJ.jpg?1 It's a LemonRX connected and heat shrunk to an N2LV in a really convenient little package; only has 3 sets of wires to worry about and is really small. Nearly all my robots are based of these; It's just really easy as I can...
