Stats and Bots and Rock and Roll

The new look contains some features you've seen before, but also many new ideas. Since was launched around 2 years ago, the number of people visiting the site has steadily risen. With the hit count for the front page alone at over 13000, and many more people making direct access to certain pages, we decided to put a bit more effort in to the site. For a while now has looked like a building site with links not working and pages going up and down and moving. We are finally now coming to a conclusion and a bright new future.

Throughout the new-style site you will find statistics, facts, figures and information. The website is now built on a massive database of information on robots and robotic combat around the world. We believe this is by far and away the biggest database ever created and the amount of information included is indicated by the counters on the front page.

The listing the information on thousands of robots, battles, games, awards and events is now being used to create statistics unlike anything seen before. Each weight class now has a World Ranking system based on one-on-one, tag team, melee and annihilator fights. Each event has its own information, including data on the type of arena used for that competition and most impressive is the absolute profile of each robot in every weight class.

The profile gives information on the robots features, weapons, armour, websites plus a complete list of all its battle statistics, it position in its weight class rankings, any awards its won, games competed in, and so on. Even most competitors websites don't included this level of information. Whether you are a die-hard 'bot fight fan, or simply interested in your favorite robot, we have something for you.

In addition to this, we will continue to expand the database. At the moment, the main competitions covered are RW UK, Battlebots and the Antweight World Series. We are actively seeking listings for RW US, Robot Mayhem 2000, Sevenoaks, Wilsons Day and any other major events. If you can help with any of these, email us.

And there's more. As well as all this information, Engineering continues to expand and we will continue to bring informative articles from around the world. And the much of information is now searchable so you can find out the answers to those questions.

If there is a feature you would like to see in, please let us know. We will do our best to bring you the best.
